There comes a time in a young GM's life, where he asks his forebearer the 'question'.
While never an easy question to answer, a prepared father should have a couple pie charts ready to help explain the birds and bees.
Of course, I'm talking about the birds and the bees of NoVarks. What did you think I was talking about?
So...where did our Keepers come from this year (year 3)?
Interesting. Less than half of this year's 79 keepers are holdovers from last year.
And nearly as many keepers (20) were taken in the 6th+ round (or undrafted) as were picked in rounds 1-5 (22). Who would'a thought?
Ok, so what if the curiosity persists? What about last year (year 2)? Where did those keepers come from?
Notice about one third (21 or 60) of the keepers came after the 6th round (or undrafted).
If the GM continues to have questions about this difficult topic, I recommend taking a look at this little collection of info from previous year's drafts.
(PS. scroll all the way to the right of each of the yearly tabs. You should see round-by-round draft averages, broken down by position. plus some other shit, if you can figure it out).
