Off-season turmoil

Seriously...Were we not just at this guy's wedding the other day??? I think I saw this picture hanging from the clothesline...

It's been a topsy-turvy couple of days in Novarks land. Contracts have been overturned. Draft dates have been moved.

The entry draft date has all but been approved for a move to Friday, Oct 1. 7PM at Casa-Schuts.

I'm pretty close to finalizing a charter for the upcoming season. However, some important decisions need to be made on the following:

• 1. Team Mady. Can we skype the draft, and go the full season with a remotely-located manager? Then what? If the answer is 'No', who joins in?

  2. Number of waiver drafts: 2 vs. 3. Should we add an extra waiver/trade day right after the NHL trade deadline?

  3. Limited weekly vs. unlimited monthly bench moves. We've got a bit of a bench now. Should we more readily be able to use it?

In fairness, I think we need to we decide on item#1 first. Then I'll provide a detailed vote for the other 2.
