First, I have updated the spreadsheet. I think the old one was broken. Also updated the game-played numbers for the rookies - the rookie-eligible picture is getting clearer by the day.
As for the details how this trade deadline thing works:
The NHL trade deadline is Monday, Feb.28, 3:00pm.
The NoVarks trade window begins Tuesday, Mar. 1, 3:00pm.
The Deadline for submitting trades is Thursday, Mar. 3, 3:00pm.
To announce a trade: (just as this past September)
Both GMs involved in a trade must email me the trade details. I must receive the same details from both GMs.
I will then mass e-mail the entire league to inform everyone of the trade.
For the next 48-hours, the 'other' GMs all have an opportunity to reject the trade (via email - it's up to you whether you want to reply-all or not).
You do not need to respond to approve a trade - only to reject a trade.
Assuming there there isn't a veto after 48-hours, the trade becomes official. ie. In a typical 2-GM trade, 6 GMs constitutes a majority veto.
All trades will be 'processed' Saturday, with stats counting for Sunday, Mar. 6th's games and onward.
This is kind of made up as we go, so if you see a serious problem with this, talk to me soon.
