(YES) or (NO)
2. If league votes NO to item #1, allow expansion to 13 teams in 2012?
(YES) or (NO)
3. If league votes YES to item #1, award the following 'sandwich picks' to Lewis after rounds:
(A: 2nd/4th/6th/8th/10th - as per existing rule 54b) or (B: 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th)
4. If league votes YES to item #1, use the following 13-team payout breakdown:

5. Add a 6th keeper starting Sep. 2012, and make it mandatory for each team to keep at least 1 defenceman?
(YES) or (NO)
So basically, Lewis is going to join our little obsession here, so welcome aboard. Vark or no vark, I guess.
He'll have the 2nd best odds going into the entry draft lottery. It's possible for Lewis to grab the 1st overall pick (see below for detailed odds).
In addition, he'll get bonus picks in the 2nd/4th/6th/6th/8th/10th/12th rounds.
Rule changes:
Salary cap increased to $73.6M. Salary floor increased to $62M.
Rookie Goalie limit changed from 50 games to 65 games.
Removed March trade deadline - revert back to 2 waiver drafts (dates TBD).
Beginning next September, teams must keep 6 players and at least one of them must be a defenseman.
Beginning next September, teams deciding not to keep 2 rookies with receive compensation picks at the very end of the draft (formerly 6th/12th round picks).
Maximum 13 teams. We are not planning to ever exceed this number of teams.
Future expansion scenarios will use an expansion draft, as opposed to using expansion bonus picks (again, we don't intend to expand beyond 13 teams, so this would mean a team would first need to dissolve before considering expansion again).
Modified lotto and waiver odds (see below).
Beer penalty system punishes the bottom 3 teams only, as opposed to it being point-based (or rather points-out-of-first-based).

Draft Lotto odds
The lottery draft will be held this friday, september 2 at Schuts' place. Unless someone steps up as host in the next couple days.
Remember: we make draws for the first 4 spots, after which the draft order follows the reverse order of last year's standings.
2011 Draft Day Beer Penalties:
Holy shit. We might have to spread this out into the waiver draft.
